No. The cover is woven into the quilt: what you put on the bed is the complete product. That's exactly the point — when the whole quilt can be washed, the bed is truly clean, not just the sheet.
Yes. It's deliberately thinner and lighter than a regular fibre quilt without being any colder: the Single and Double sizes fit in a standard machine. For the King, a large-capacity machine is best.
Almost everyone is surprised by how compact it is. That's also why it dries in two hours.
Yes. The fibre is open enough to let air through when it's hot, and dense enough to hold your warmth when it's cold. It's the same principle as outdoor hiking gear.
If you sleep very hot, go up a size and let it lie on top instead of tucking in the edges.
No. The surface and the filling breathe and manage moisture: extra heat escapes instead of getting trapped. It's the comment we hear most from people who gave up their down quilt.
There are no feathers and no down. And because the whole quilt handles 60 °C, you can genuinely wash out dust and dust mites — impossible with a regular quilt that almost never gets washed.
